MESSAGE FROM THE ARTIST
Ever since I was a little girl I can remember my parents' living room table being completely covered with my art supplies no matter what time of the year it was. Papers, paints, markers, crayons, you name it; the table had it all, and it would take forever to clean. For those artists and master crafters who can relate, you probably use your creativity everywhere you go and find ways to add an artistic touch to everything you do, just like me!

Today, my passion for arts and crafts encompasses painting, drawing, 3D modelling, woodworking, paper crafting, and particularly quilling. Although I work full-time in my field of study, construction management, quilling remains my part-time job/full-time hobby as many others may experience with their own hobbies. As a self-taught quiller, my first experience with quilling was when I was in the 7th grade and the long-gone craft store, Louiscraft in Toronto, was having a closing sale and I decided to purchase my first quilling book, tool, and sample paper strips. I still have that book to this day and reference it from time to time... I guess you never forget your first! From that day forward I became hooked on quilling and began researching, practicing, and perfecting the art form's delicate shapes, sizes, and arrangements. After years of practice, I have gained the speed and confidence to produce high quality works of art in minimal time however, the journey has always been more important to me than the destination. There's nothing quite like seeing a simple quilled orchid or daisy come together as a whole, one petal at a time.
Opening up my artwork for the world to see and have for themselves in 2018 has become a major stepping stone in my life that I never thought I could accomplish on my own. Thanks to a huge encouragement from my friends and family who have been impatiently waiting for me to share my work, I present Zielinski Paper Creations to the world!

Come check it out and enjoy!
